Day 1 : Arrival - Tangier - Chefchaouen

Your driver will greet you upon your arrival at Tangier. Time allowing, you may choose to explore the city or request your driver to take you to Chefchaouen – where you will spend the night.

Day 2 : Chefchaouen

After breakfast, you will begin your day in the lovely medina to discover the ‘blue pearl’ of the Rif Mountains on a full-day tour. Explore the vivid lanes of a remarkable city to experience the town’s street life and visit the market where craftsmen sell distinctive Riffian handicrafts. You will visit the 18th-century kasbah and linger in the bustling cafés of the main square and the well-preserved mellah – home of a vibrant Jewish community. After exploring the medina, the certified guide will take you for a hike through the nearby hillsides with magnificent waterfalls of Akchour and the beautiful view of God’s Bridge.

Day 3 : Chefchaouen - Volubilis - Meknes - Fes

You will start your drive to the old imperial city of Meknes which is recognized by its tall ramparts and large gates. Bab Mansour is one of the most impressive gates in the whole of Morocco. You’ll carry on for a stop at Sahrij Swani and the city’s granary which was used to store food and water. Located in Meknes is also the mausoleum of the longest reigning sultan of Morocco, Moulay Ismail, and El Hadim Square. Accompanied by the certified guide, you will venture to the archeological site of Volubilis. You will wander the abandoned ruins, still dotted with colorful mosaics and get an idea into neighborhood life as it existed centuries ago. These Roman ruins are well preserved and have been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1997. End your day by arriving at Fes, where we will spend the night.

Day 4 : Fes

The medieval medina of Fes is one of Morocco’s top cities in producing handmade crafts; in fact many of the ancient methods are still in use today. After breakfast, you will meet our local certified guide who will start the tour by visiting the King’s Palace. We’ll drive to the Southern Tower – the highest point of the city for a panoramic view of the Old Medina. Following this, you’ll visit a clay cooperative workshop where artisans will demonstrate how they handcraft Moroccan mosaics and other pottery. Here, our driving tour ends and you embark on a walking tour beginning with three historic monuments. Al-Qarawiyyin University is the first university in the world. Built by Fatima Al-Fihri in the 8th century, it is one of the city’s most admired monuments. Madrassa Bou Inania was built by Sultan Bou Inan in the 1350’s and stands as the most architecturally refined of Fes’ theological colleges. It is known for its massive brass entrance doors and its interior courtyard which contains a masterpiece of elaborate zellige tile work. You will explore the Moulay Idriss 2nd Mausolee to see its cedar-wood doors and richly decorated vestibule. You will end your day by visiting the leather tannery district of Fes where you will see local leather experts work goat, camel, and cow hides in small stone vessels filled with different colored dyes.

Day 5 : Fes - Azrou - Ifrane - Merzouga

This day’s drive from Fes to Merzouga will be an exciting one. You will pass through the Middle Atlas Mountains to the city of Ifrane, nicknamed the Switzerland of Morocco. The charming town is known for its Alpine climate and high altitudes of 1,665 meters (5,460 feet). You will head to Azrou Forest – the biggest cedar forest in Africa, where you may have the opportunity to feed the rare Barbary Macaque monkeys. You will travel through the fascinating Tiz N’ Talghamt pass and Ziz Gorge. You will break for lunch with a Berber family in one of the villages. Continue towards the famous Merzouga where you’ll switch from car to camelback for a trip through the dunes and night of music under the stars.

Day 6 : Merzouga - Tinghir

Wake up early for a sunrise on the dunes which will be followed by breakfast and a short break before our camelback ride to meet the driver. Along the road to Toudgha Gorges, we will stop at Errissani to visit the market and enjoy a local treat “madfouna” - a nomadic style pizza. In the same area you will visit a local Fossil Museum, which is known for containing some fossils dating back 500 million years ago. As we continue our drive we’ll visit the “khattarat” – one of the oldest irrigation systems in the world. In Tinghir you will explore the Jewish Quarter with a short walk through local gardens. You will check in to your riad and take a short drive toTodgha Gorges, home to a series of limestone river canyons.

Day 7 : Tinghir - Skoura–Ouarzazate - Ait Benhaddou - Marrakech

After Breakfast, you will continue your trip on the road of a thousand kasbahs. We will stop in Kelaat Mgouna; the rosy city where an annual festival of roses is celebrated. You will visit a local rose water extraction co-operative. You will take the best shots of natural beauty of oases along the way. In Skoura, you will visit Kasbah Amridil; a well maintained 15th century clay mansion. You will have a tour of the palmeraie oasis on horsebacks. After lunch, you will take a tour in the Hollywood of Africa in Ouarzazate to discover the film studios of well-known movies like The Mummy, Gladiator, and Game of Thrones. In our way, you will explore the UNESCO renowned world heritage site of Ait Benhadou by taking a walking guided tour of the pre-saharian clay houses crowded together to form defense walls. We will drive through the gigantic Tizi’NTichka Cols; which is the famous winding mountain-side road. We will make stops along the way in the scenic overviews. In Marrakech , you will check in to your riad and enjoy free time to relax.

Day 8 : Marrakech - Guided tour

After breakfast, you will meet a certified local guide who will lead a walking tour of the Red city. You will visit Bahia Palace, built by Bahmad Grand vizir of Marrakech. As you discover the palace, you will enjoy the incredible mosaics and stucco styles while hearing some interesting stories about the 4 wives and 24 concubines. The next sight is the extraordinary architecture of Saadian Tomb, royal necropolis of the 17th century. you will also visit the famous souks of Marrakech and enjoy the sights and sounds of its bustling marketplace. The large souk carries a variety of goods; from spices to traditional clothing and handmade artisanal crafts; there is something for everyone. You will have the opportunity to exercise your haggling skills while purchasing unique hand crafted items. You will finish your tour at Jamaa El-fana, the most animated square in Marrakech-frequented by snake charmers, monkey entertainers, fortune tellers, food stalls, and musicians. Day 9 : Departure

This is the end of your journey with good memories and warm wishes, we hope to serve you again soon in Morocco. Your driver will transfer you to the departing airport for a safe flight.
